BJC International Co., Ltd.
The International Business Group and BJC International Co. Ltd. were established in 2007 with the aim of promoting overseas BJC Group's product portfolio as well as related products. The International Business Group has its head office in Thailand and branch offices in Vietnam, Malaysia and Myanmar. In Vietnam and Myanmar theGroup has established trading with import and export activities. In Malaysia, the snack food company Jacy Foods Snd Bhd was acquired in 2008. In Hong Kong, the Group established BJC International Hong Kong as a vehicle to consolidate all overseas business.
In Vietnam, the Group has offices in Ho Chi Minh City and Hanoi. The Specialty Products Division represents business partners in ingredients to the food and feed segments. A substantial glass container export business was established in 2009, and export of the Group’s tissue and personal care products is already well recognized.
The Myanmar office coordinates sales of glass containers and fast moving consumer goods.
Jacy Foods in Malaysia produces potato chips and other products under its own Wise brand, which already has a strong presence in Hong Kong and Philippines. Jacy Foods caters to the local Malaysian market and also acts as an export arm of snack foods to Southeast Asia and the Middle East. Jacy Foods also operates as the OEM for the Calbee brand in Japan.
During 2009 the group will further expand in Southeast Asia its business in graphics solution systems, specialty products, stationery products, health care products as well as glass containers.
